triathalon

I'm amazed that I managed to move these pictures from one site to this one, so sorry if the quality was compromised! Anyway, this is Pat at his triathalon, they don't have a picture of him swimming which is fine with him because he thinks it would be of him sucking down gallons of Lake Havasu water anyway!
It was a pretty hard course, just little things that added up- like the portion of the run that was in sand! He swam 1 mile, rode his bike for 24 miles, and ran 6.2 miles. He finished in 3 1/2 hours, which is longer than he wanted, but considering how many people dropped out, he was just happy to finish. Had he known the difficulty of the course, he would have adjusted his goal time.
http://myracepics.com/search.php?e=274&s=301 is the link for the rest of the pictures they took, but they are all of the bike and the run.
There are two Highlands Ranch triathalons coming up this summer, so he'll be doing those. They are actually shorter than what he just did (they are called sprints) but it's good practice and good to train for.
