Surprise!

Imagine my surprise Thursday to learn that it was Kim and Thea that were spending the weekend in Minneapolis, and not Chris' parents. (Nothing wrong with Chris' parents. I had activities in mind for them and everything.) Our first priority after baby proofing the house was a trip to IKEA, which Kim now sees what a great place it is. A bit unexpected was Thea's mild ear infection so we went to urgent care Saturday. Not sure what it is about baby visitors and ear infections, but luckily Debi was able to lend her own experience with the situation. Thea has been a trooper though and hopefully the medicine kicks in by tomorrow. The photo is Thea in the drug store with Halloween decorations as big as her. We have one more day together and then the cats will come out from hiding. I'm enjoying the surprise and spending time with Kim and Thea. And thanks to Chris for the wonderful meals and helping to plan the weekend.
