Apu Update

As some of you know, Apu had two weeks off from chemo as one of the medicines in the mix was causing weakening in his back legs. The vet is now taking a different approach, one that treats the cancer with one pill every 6 weeks instead of the IV that was a mix of three different medicines. It's a less aggressive approach, but hopefully one Apu's body will respond better to. The vet was more than happy with how Apu looked today--he's up to 11 pounds and has the right amount of fat and muscle. We go back in 3 weeks for blood work and will post more about his progress.
Chris took the photo of Apu yesterday. He walked him around the backyard until Apu wanted down so he could hang out in one of his favorite spots in the backyard.
